MCPHS’s School of Professional Studies seeks a Manager of Strategic Partnerships to strengthen and expand engagement with industry and employer partners in support of workforce development goals.

Based at the Boston campus, the role is part of a flexible work arrangement and requires living within commutable distance to Boston. The Manager will drive enrollment growth and collaboration across multiple university departments to advance experiential learning for MCPHS students.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in higher education, workforce development, professional education, talent acquisition, or training environments.
  • Strong organizational, relationship-building, communication, and consultative selling skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Preferred: experience managing employer, industry, alumni, or community partnerships.
  • Preferred: experience facilitating meetings, events, or stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Preferred: experience developing proposals, reports, and partnership-related processes.
  • Preferred: familiarity with contract coordination and invoicing processes.
  • Preferred: proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with employer, industry, alumni, and community partners.
  • Respond to inbound partnership inquiries and assess new opportunities.
  • Support the Directors on strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Develop partnership proposals and coordinate contracts, invoicing, and related admin.
  • Plan and execute partner and alumni engagement activities, including events.
  • Represent the University at conferences, events, and industry forums.
  • Collaborate with enrollment, marketing, advancement, and career development teams.
  • Gather employer feedback and industry insights to inform program development.
  • Connect partners with University resources and personnel.
  • Maintain partnership records and outcomes in Salesforce; track KPIs.
  • Prepare reports, conduct research, and develop tools and templates.

Job description

The School of Professional Studies seeks a Manager of Strategic Partnerships to strengthen and expand relationships with industry and employer partners in support of the School's educational and workforce development goals. Working closely with the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Market Intelligence, this newly created role serves as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of partners, identifying and executing opportunities to deepen engagement through curriculum collaboration, workforce education initiatives, and program enrollment. Success is measured by enrollment growth, partnership retention, expanded partnership activity, and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders to advance experiential learning and employment opportunities for MCPHS students. This position offers a flexible work arrangement and requires the candidate to live within a commutable distance to the Boston campus.

  • Manage and grow relationships with employer, industry, alumni, and community partners.

  • Support the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Market Intelligence, Director of Business Development, and Director of Professional and Executive Education on strategic initiatives and special projects.

  • Gather employer feedback and industry insights to inform program development and curriculum planning.

Requirements

Required:

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience in higher education, workforce development, professional education, talent acquisition, or training environments

Pay Range

$78,800.00 - $88,300.00 / year
