Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

The Manager, Strategic Initiatives primary responsibility is to provide consulting, communications and analytic support to business leaders in developing and executing major projects and initiatives to enable achievement of the business plan. Organizational Effectiveness partners to develop strategic resources and consistent messaging to ensure organizational awareness, alignment; and understanding of key priorities and progress toward Claim’s goals and strategic objectives.
What Will You Do?
- Perform research and current state analysis: define challenges and pain points to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assists in building the story lines and presentations to communicate current & future state, gap analysis and recommendations.
- Collaborates on creating meaningful messages and content that amplifies our value proposition and culture.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted, partnerships with senior executives and constituent partners in a highly collaborative and matrixed organization to drive critical work.
- In conjunction with others across Business Delivery, Analytics and Technology, helps to transform business strategy into tactical plans for execution.
- Create and maintain communication templates within Salesforce.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Assist in developing metrics and KPIs to measure and track success of improvement initiatives.
- Perform moderately complex strategic analysis, business analysis and cost/benefit analysis.
- Provides facts and analysis to assist the leadership team in solving complex problems.
- Supports market level planning and execution.
- May facilitate business meetings with the leadership team, and/or assist in preparing agendas and content for meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- MBA preferred.
- Knowledge of property casualty insurance.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry and market dynamics.
- Strong communication skills; verbal, written, storytelling, and platform skills to craft clear and engaging content.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills. Access skills a plus. Knowledge of financial analysis.
- Experience in developing strong, trusted, partnerships with senior executives and constituent partners in a highly collaborative and matrixed organization to drive critical work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizing skills: version control and folder organization.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to ensure content accuracy and consistency.
- Creative thinking skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce’s interface and features, particularly those related to email and document templates.
- Ability to design visually appealing and effective templates.
