Being able to think on your feet is important, as is the ability to efficiently debate the validity of a given approach to any aspect of a project under your control. You have strong social and interpersonal skills. As a manager in the ASE EPM team, you will be part of a team that serves the passions and needs of many tens of millions of customers in an increasingly security-conscious world, so we're looking for somebody who can be equally passionate! Key to your success will be the need to act as a business product thought problem solver on applicable domains, analyzing business risks, needs and requirements, participating and representing as the need arises in problem solving and design of engineering discussions. You'll need a strong background in engineering program & project management complemented by your technical abilities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical / engineering program managers, and leading highly efficient & impactful teams
  • 10+ years experience in software development project management for Site Reliability Engineering / DevOps / Infrastructure domains
  • A history of leadership, decision making, negotiation skills, and ability to influence partners without direct authority
  • Experience leading large scale Infrastructure programs with focus on Cloud environments
  • Exceptional organizational & engineering project management skills, with deep technical acumen
  • Experience prioritizing features, and leading & presenting technical roadmaps
  • Self-motivated and proactive with validated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to represent at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes is highly desirable
  • Agile project experience with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of SCRUM methodologies and/or played the role of a Scrum Master is a plus
  • Ability to handle & deliver multiple simultaneous end-to-end infrastructure projects, partnering with communities comprising of various engineering teams and their extended technical teams
  • Experience delivering end-to-end projects; building roadmaps through to operational sustainability
  • Strong facilitation skills (requirements gathering sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings)
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Engineering, or equivalent experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $173,100 and $301,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
