Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or related field with 2 years' compliance/ethics/legal/project management experience, or 4 years in those areas.
- 2 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Lead ACM/LBP compliance program, ensuring surveys, O&M plans, training and documentation stay current and compliant.
- Provide guidance on ACM/LBP requirements during renovations, maintenance and capital projects.
- Manage environmental consulting vendors, including SOW development and performance monitoring.
- Support regulatory inspections, inquiries and investigations.
- Maintain ACM/LBP policies, standards and governance documentation.
- Oversee program metrics, funding, documentation and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate construction project monitoring, reviews, and reporting.
- Coordinate environmental incident management and closure.

This role serves as the program owner and subject matter expert, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing surveys and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) plans, overseeing contractor performance, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support safe and compliant facilities.

This role serves as the program owner and subject matter expert, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing surveys and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) plans, overseeing contractor performance, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support safe and compliant facilities.
Our team integrates environmental compliance into real estate, construction, facility maintenance, and closure activities across Walmart. We collaborate closely with Facility Services, Construction, Legal, and Real Estate teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions. This approach ensures the protection of associates, customers, vendors, and communities while maintaining adherence to ethical standards. The team emphasizes effective communication, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement to support compliance management and regulatory adherence throughout the organization of the asbestos and lead based paint programs.
- Lead Walmart's ACM/LBP compliance program, ensuring surveys, O&M plans, training and documentation remain current and compliant.
- Provide guidance to Construction, Facility Services, and project teams on ACM/LBP requirements during renovation, maintenance, and capital projects.
- Manage environmental consulting vendors, including SOW development, performance monitoring and service quality.
- Support regulatory inspections, agency inquiries and compliance related investigations.
- Maintain ACM/LBP policies, standards, procedures and governance documentation, including council activities.
- Oversee program metrics, funding, documentation management and continuous improvement.
- Support construction projects monitoring activities, to include assessment reviews, closure of exceptions, metrics tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate environmental incident management, ensuring timely follow-up, documentation and closure of incidents.
What you'll bring...
- Expertise in ACM/LBP regulations, including OSHA, EPA, AHERA, RRP and NESHAP requirements.
- Experience managing environmental compliance programs in large-scale retail, commercial real estate, construction, or facilities environments.
- Strong vendor management, program management and regulatory interpretation skills.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business processes and guidance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across operations, construction, maintenance, legal and leadership teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-pace environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
