Job summary

MOHR Talent in Rossmoor, CA is seeking a hands-on Manager, Sourcing & Procurement to lead a team of buyers, oversee POs, quotes, supplier onboarding, contracts, and procurement metrics within a regulated life sciences environment.

You will drive cost savings, negotiate with suppliers, and partner with finance, operations, quality, and supply chain to maintain compliant purchasing practices while enabling timely operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, sourcing, or procurement experience.
• 2+ years leading or supervising a procurement/purchasing team.
• Background in biotech, pharma, life sciences, medical device, or regulated manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GMP, supplier compliance, documentation, and regulated purchasing.
• Experience with RFQs, RFPs, contracts, vendor onboarding, negotiations, and purchase orders.
• ERP experience required.
• Experience supporting or writing SOPs, policies, or procurement procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with procurement leadership experience in biotech, pharma, life sciences, medical device, or another regulated environment. The right person will know how to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, improve purchasing processes, support compliance, and keep operations moving without delays.
