Position Overview

This position will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the software solutions and functionality for Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) NA Payment team. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in an Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe environment, using those methodologies and continuous integration practices in a fast-paced development setting, is essential. The role involves experience with various testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to effectively implement software processes and continuous improvement actions. The candidate will foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and address concerns, working with cross-functional teams and SW/HW professionals to drive optimal performance.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of software testers to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
• Develop and implement test strategies, automation strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and prioritize testing efforts.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Track and report testing progress, issues, and metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of testing environments (software/hardware) for ongoing testing activities.
• Experience writing test plans, strategies, and test cases.
• Execute and analyze test cases and communicate results.
• Help troubleshoot and verify bugs and errors reported.
• Create and update test scripts based on bugs and changes/upgrades to the application.
• Work with team members to find the root cause of defects.
• Collaborate effectively with project team members to ensure project success and champion high quality throughout the project.
• Lead test automation initiatives.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 4-5 years of software testing experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years in a software QA leadership role.
