Job summary

Axon in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Manager, Solutions Architects (Deployment) to lead a team delivering high-quality solution design for law enforcement, campus, and corrections deployments. You will guide project delivery and scalable architectures across Axon's Real-Time Operations offerings, partnering with sales, product, and engineering.

You'll spend ~80% of your time leading the team and 20% supporting complex client engagements, reporting to the Senior Director, RTO, with 6–10 architects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4–6 years of experience in solution architecture or related technical leadership roles.
  • 1–3 years of direct supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Expertise in solution architecture frameworks, cloud technologies, and systems integration.
  • Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including clients.
  • Experience in project management and business process analysis.
  • Basic understanding of integration coding methodologies.
  • Experience in the public safety sector preferred (e.g., RMS/CAD implementations).
  • Must pass a CJIS background check and maintain CJIS clearance

Your Impact

As a Manager, Solutions Architects, you’ll lead a team focused on delivering technical excellence in solution architecture across Axon’s Real-Time Operations (RTO) offerings. Partnering closely with the Sr. Manager and cross-functional teams, you'll implement and scale high-quality solution design processes while providing strategic support for mission-critical, customer-facing engagements.

You will spend approximately 80% of your time leading the team and managing project delivery across your group, and 20% supporting complex or unique client engagements with technical depth, particularly in emerging or highly integrated deployments.

What You’ll Do

Location: Hybrid - Must report into one of our Hub locations listed below
(Scottsdale AZ, Seattle WA, Boston MA, Atlanta GA)
Reports to: Senior Director, RTO
Direct Reports: 6-10 Solutions Architects
