A leading company in semiconductor manufacturing is seeking an experienced engineering manager to oversee a team responsible for deploying and supporting advanced factory automation solutions. The role involves collaboration with various teams, managing projects, and ensuring operational excellence through continuous improvement methodologies. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in factory automation and MES applications, along with strong leadership and project management skills.
Manage a team of engineers responsible for deploying and supporting MES 300works Full-Auto, MES FACTORYworks Maintenance Management solutions at Applied Materials customer sites.
Handle triaging and troubleshooting of issues across the CIM (e.g., MES, Equipment Automation, CMMS, process control systems, message bus).
Collaborate with product engineering’s QA team on continuous improvement activities.
Provide MES production support, MES product delivery support, and CIM delivery project support.
Develop new solutions and products with the product engineering team to meet market demands.
Coordinate with customers' internal teams to deploy and optimize control solutions to achieve factory KPIs.
Work with systems administration and IT teams on developing and deploying control solutions.
Present technical information to customers, including technical contributors and managers.
Create and implement software training and demonstrations.
Perform software installations.
Contribute to and manage the knowledge base.
Respond to customer requests for proposals (RFPs).
Develop and deliver statements of work (SOW).
Implement continuous improvement standards such as 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5-Whys to enhance operations.
Manage employees (direct or matrixed reports), contributing to performance management, employee development, and retention.
Interface with customers on product roadmap and strategy, providing feedback on customer HVP and new technology roadmaps.
Lead the application of principles, theories, and concepts to determine the best course of action and resolve complex operational problems.
Establish product strategy, identify organizational linkages, and develop processes and roadmaps for the BU/technology group, including hiring, training, and staffing plans.
