Job Description

NBCUniversal's product and engineering teams are transforming key Finance processes and supporting cross-functional workstreams like Transformation Management Office, master data governance, reporting, security, risk, controls, and change management.

Project Keystone aims to build a standardized, flexible, and data-driven business platform for real-time decision-making.

This Manager, Software Engineering role oversees SAP BTP solutions, leading the RTR and S2P teams in designing, building, and deploying cloud applications aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and lead SAP professionals (onsite and offshore) in SAP solution development and implementation.
2. Collaborate with architects and leads to improve SAP BTP development strategy, architecture, and governance.
3. Work with teams to design, evaluate, and select technical options for custom development, following industry and NBCU standards.
4. Provide effort estimates and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
5. Develop and track project plans, ensuring alignment with PMO timelines.
6. Maintain development standards and provide architecture guidance.
7. Manage relationships with Product, Change Management, Testing, and other engineering teams to identify improvements and cost savings.
8. Mentor and train developers to foster high performance.
9. Stay current with SAP technologies and trends, recommending adoption and integration strategies.
10. Promote innovation and exploration within SAP engineering, encouraging experimentation and knowledge sharing.
11. Contribute to SAP and non-SAP system integration solutions.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field with an IT focus, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years SAP integration experience, including 4+ years as a Team Lead and 2+ years managing teams.
• Experience with large-scale implementations and SAP BTP development.
• Knowledge of SDLC, release management, system monitoring, change procedures, and system performance principles.
• Experience in SAP ECC to S/4 HANA transformations.

Desired Characteristics

• SAP technical certification.
• Experience with AEM, API management, and Cloud ALM.
• Adaptability, excellent communication, and collaboration skills.

Additional Requirements

• Fully remote position.
• Eligible for company benefits, salary range $140,000 - $200,000, bonus eligible.
