That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for hire at this time. In short, as a Manager, Software Engineering on our team, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of Pega projects, ensuring that timelines and quality standards are consistently met. In this management role, you will motivate and inspire your team, leveraging their unique strengths while managing performance to deliver on business expectations.

  • Set clear, measurable performance goals for team members and conduct regular 1:1s to track progress.
  • Provide timely, actionable feedback and manage the full employee lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding to performance management and reviews.
  • Utilize code reviews and work assessments not just for quality control, but as opportunities to deepen team expertise.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to provide strategic insights and effective automation solutions.
  • Proactively address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with team members and stakeholders, and escalating only where appropriate.

  • Strategic Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business needs, driving collaboration across cross-functional groups.
  • Continuous Learning: A mindset focused on utilizing innovative approaches to improve project outcomes and encouraging the team to do the same, including practical use of AI to improve how work is planned, built, and delivered.
The Specifics.
  • 5+ years of professional development experience and have led teams informally or formally on large projects.
