Overview

The Social Media Manager will lead the day‑to‑day strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest, bringing the brand’s key marketing priorities to life through a social‑first approach. As part of the Marketing team, this role partners closely with Creative’s Associate Social Art Director and cross‑functional teams to develop engaging content, foster an active community, and ensure every platform reflects the Haus Labs brand voice and creative vision. The role owns community management, UGC strategy, social content planning, publishing, and performance reporting, using insights to optimise content and identify new opportunities for growth.

Social Channel Management & Strategy
  • Manage daily publishing and ongoing operations across all social platforms, ensuring content is posted on time, accurately, and aligned with brand priorities.
  • Own and manage the monthly social calendar that supports omnichannel marketing plans and business objectives.
  • Identify and manage content creators, develop unique creator briefs that align with brand voice and social strategies, and oversee timelines, deliverables, and invoicing.
  • Develop platform‑specific strategies and adapt content to maximise performance across each channel.
  • Maintain and update monthly social calendars in real time, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected across content decks and planning documents.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, social research, and performance reporting using Dash Social to uncover insights and inform strategy.
  • Create and manage tracking links for .com promotions, campaigns, and new product launches.
  • Maintain and organise the social content library to support cross‑channel usage and efficient content management.
  • Review all social content before publishing, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Monitor published content to ensure quality standards are met, including accuracy, resolution, and functionality of links.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Retail Marketing, Influencer, and Digital teams to bring social support to life across campaigns.
  • Partner with the Associate Social Art Director to ideate and develop social‑first content concepts.
  • Capture behind‑the‑scenes content for events, launches, and brand moments as needed.
  • Stay on top of cultural trends, competitor activity, and shifts in the social landscape to help evolve our channel strategy.
Community Management & Engagement
  • Own day‑to‑day community management across all social channels, ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and aligned with the brand voice.
  • Maintain availability for community management during key moments, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Build genuine connections with the community by engaging with comments, mentions, tags, and DMs.
  • Monitor community conversations and sentiment using social listening tools to identify trends, feedback, and opportunities.
  • Respond to community questions, comments, and feedback in a thoughtful and timely manner.
  • Stay up to date on social trends and platform behaviours, bringing forward recommendations for how the brand can continue to engage and grow its community.
What We Are Looking For
  • Hybrid work environment, with three days in the office per week.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Five or more years of experience in a similar social media role within the beauty or fashion industry.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor comments for different audiences and platforms.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
  • Passionate about makeup, skincare, lifestyle, wellness, and culture.
  • Comfortable monitoring social channels periodically outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience using social analytics tools to track performance, identify insights, and inform strategy.
What We Expect
  • Team‑oriented communication; driven players who collaborate enthusiastically.
  • Self‑starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
  • Approach solutions with curiosity and positivity, open to constructive feedback.
  • Able to share case studies of successful campaigns and PR programmes managed from start to finish.

  • Paid, equal parental leave for birth, non‑birth, and adoptive parents
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
