Job summary

GEICO is hiring a Manager, Site Operations and Workplace Experience to lead the daily office governance and drive an outstanding associate experience. You will build relationships across departments to improve engagement and coordinate with the Location Leader on listening strategies based on feedback and events.

The role requires 2+ years of management, hospitality or workplace experience, strong communication, project management, and analytical skills, and will be based in-office.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Experience in Hospitality, guest experience, or workplace experience.
  • Experience with communications and emergency response helpful.
  • Relevant associate engagement experience.
  • Project management experience and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a visible, accountable, and approachable site manager who actively supports engagement priorities and translates those priorities into a strong associate experience.
  • Work with Location Leader and Location Council to develop and execute the site listening strategy by using associate feedback, AOS themes, focus groups, post-event surveys, and leader observations to improve the associate experience.
  • For local partnerships and community engagement initiatives, research, identify, and establish relationships with community partners, schools, nonprofit organizations and other external vendors aligned with campaign and event objectives.
  • Deliver enhanced associate experiences through onsite activations such as holidays luncheons, conferences, Community, Belonging and Engagement events, and other initiatives.
  • Advocate for the various facility and security needs of the office, working as a liaison with IT, Facilities and security to ensure associates have proper equipment, furniture, food services, etc.
  • Execute communication plans and communication cadence established by the Location Leader and other partners.
  • Lead with clarity, consistency, professionalism, urgency, and care in how work is planned, communicated, and executed.
  • Manage budgeting and data analysis to identify issues at our sites and crafting viable solutions to diagnosis them.
  • While growing to understand the many intricacies of each department and the needs of our associates, you’ll partner with the Location Leader and other senior executives to best facilitate and orchestrate a positive experience for our people.
