RTX's Pratt & Whitney operations in East Hartford, CT seeks a senior materials and production leader to oversee strategic materials management and lean release strategies. This position will have general oversight of these operations and responsibilities include execution of material movement and systems, coaching and training of personnel, and procurement ownership to consumables and services. This individual will lead and manage value stream transformation initiatives regarding strategic materials management architecture and implementation of lean release strategies, handling methods, kitting strategies and transportation methods. The candidate will be working directly with Hot Section Module Center (HSMC) administration, materials, operations and as well as the internal manufacturing groups to assist in redefining processes, execution on business requirements and delivery to customer expectations. The selected candidate will provide leadership and direction with emphasis on change management. Additionally, communicate effectively, understand the manufacturing environment and display business insight. Successful person will excel at forward thinking and ensure that HSMC is transforming to meet the customer demands of a difficult manufacturing environment.
This position is classified as: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
