Job summary

Tiger Analytics is seeking a business-focused, analytically strong consultant to work directly with senior business leaders to translate complex needs into data- and AI-enabled solutions.

The role emphasizes understanding business operations, defining critical decisions, and rapidly mobilizing GenAI, Agentic AI, analytics and low-code tools to deliver actionable insights and measurable results.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy/management consulting, commercial analytics, operations, finance or similar decision-oriented environment.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Strong analytical orientation with hands-on data work.
• Retail/CPG industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand the business and the decision: engage stakeholders to understand objectives, economics, processes, constraints and the decisions they are trying to make—not simply document stated requirements.
• Challenge and structure problems: ask the right questions, challenge assumptions and convert ambiguous business issues into clear hypotheses, analyses and decision frameworks.
• Use data to develop insights: explore and interpret data, conduct rapid analyses, identify patterns and translate findings into business implications and recommendations.
• Rapidly prototype solutions: use GenAI, Agentic AI, analytics and low-code/no-code tools to rapidly explore ideas, analyze information and develop working prototypes.
• Orchestrate expertise: leverage data scientists, engineers, domain experts, product teams and AI agents rather than building everything independently.
• Drive from insight to action: communicate findings in simple business language, recommend actions and translate recommendations into measurable outcomes.
• Continuously learn: rapidly experiment with emerging AI capabilities and identify where they can improve decision-making.

We are looking for a business-first, analytically strong consultant who can work directly with business leaders to understand complex decisions, challenge conventional thinking, and rapidly translate business needs into data- and AI-enabled solutions.

This is not a traditional requirements-gathering role. The consultant will be expected to understand how the business operates, identify the decisions that matter, determine what information and analysis are needed, and rapidly mobilize AI/Agentic tools, data and specialist teams to solve the problem.

The ideal candidate has operated in an environment where they have regularly used data and analysis to support business decisions and is excited about learning and applying emerging AI technologies.

• Continuously learn: Rapidly experiment with emerging AI and technology capabilities and identify where they can materially improve business decision-making.

10+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy/management consulting, commercial analytics, operations, supply chain, finance, marketing/customer analytics, product management or a similar decision-oriented business environment.

The person should demonstrate:

• Strong business curiosity and problem-solving ability.

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Prior experience working in Retail/CPG Industry strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical orientation and comfort working hands-on with data.
• Ability to move from business question → hypothesis → analysis → insight → decision/action.
• Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively rather than simply accepting requirements.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and solving loosely defined problems.
• Strong written, verbal and executive communication skills.
• Working familiarity with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, BI/visualization tools and/or Python.
• Strong interest and hands-on aptitude with GenAI, AI agents and emerging productivity/development tools.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly without needing to be a deep software engineer.
• Ability to bring together business, analytics, technology and specialist teams to deliver solutions rapidly.
