Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Plant Operations by supervising and directing the Security Department.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of security staff.
• Ensure compliance with all security regulations and documentation requirements.
• Protect patients, visitors, staff, building, and property.
• Investigate incidents such as assaults, thefts, and property damage, and submit reports accordingly.
• Assist staff in handling combative persons and situations.
• Maintain communication with local law enforcement agencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year college degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience in healthcare security supervision or related field.
• PC 832 / Level 1 law enforcement training or higher.
• Reserve Deputy / Police Officer experience, or experience with Department of Corrections, Military Law Enforcement, or healthcare security management, may be substituted.
• State driver's license upon hire.
• Current DMV H6 report or driving history report.
