Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental health & safety (EHS) programs across multiple business units comprising Hendrick Motorsports and Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions. This role is responsible for driving a proactive safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance while serving as a visible and collaborative leader at all levels of the organization from the executive suite to the production floor.
This job does not have direct supervisory responsibility, however, frequently directs and impacts the work of others.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, bend, twist, squat; and sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; and lift up to 100 lbs.
Duties are performed primarily at Hendrick Motorsports in Concord, NC with minimal direct supervision. Work includes frequent walking throughout more than one (1) million square feet of facilities across multiple buildings encompassing the Hendrick Motorsports campus. Work will consistently be performed in variable weather conditions and climates, also working both indoors and outdoors. Minimal travel required – travel may be by car or plane.
The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Position is not remote. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
