Job description

A Netflix manager of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) will build, maintain, and operate a GSOC to support all Netflix enterprises worldwide, including developing GSOC technology capabilities, optimizing security preparedness and emergency response, and supporting workplace security programs for both studio and corporate facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Netflix GSOC to coordinate with interdepartmental partners worldwide, providing intelligence, coordination, and communications on security‑related matters.
• Partner with Enterprise Security and other teams to enhance programs for mobile corporate workforce and production staff.
• Develop technology platforms and create an integrated common operating picture to provide global situational awareness.
• Assist Security Operations with security systems technology integration, design, and implementation.
• Assist with ongoing development of crisis management and response programs.
• Support the development of enterprise security services such as workplace violence, travel security, key‑and‑record, and security awareness training.
• Manage and develop a multi‑vendor/consultant network to ensure appropriate solutions minimize business risk exposure.
• Stay current on emerging security trends that may impact the company.

Qualifications

• Expertise overseeing and/or developing a GSOC at a multinational level.
• Experience in a physical security role (corporate security, security operations, intelligence, military, law‑enforcement).
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and/or relevant certifications a plus.
• Experience providing security for overall studio operations including events, production, talent, etc.
• Fluency in a second language at a business‑proficient level a plus.
• Comfortable leveraging risk without sacrificing effective security response.
• Self‑contained, DIY mentality, able to drive results in a nimble environment.

Compensation

The total compensation range for this role is typically $100,000 – $350,000, based on market indicators and your location.
