Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a high-volume Women’s Health clinic in Federal Way, WA, and satellite sites. You will drive exceptional patient care, mentor nurses and aides, and uphold regulatory compliance and fiscal stewardship.

The role emphasizes collaborative leadership, effective communication, and educational leadership to elevate patient outcomes and staff engagement in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in a related field and graduation from an accredited school of nursing with minimum 3 years leadership experience.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with 5 years leadership experience in the discipline.
• Master's degree in nursing upon hire.
• Registered Nurse in WA upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily clinic operations, including staffing, patient accounts, supplies, and equipment within budget and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates nursing and office operations to maintain quality patient care and confidentiality, handles patient concerns and service recovery.
• Identifies and resolves operational and clinical issues, monitors documentation, and reports productivity and program updates.
• Monitors environment of care standards, coordinates facility maintenance, and ensures disaster readiness and security.
• Develops and implements policies, informs staff of changes, maintains relationships with regional management and Medical Director for oversight.
• Oversees staff management including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

• Clinic Operations & Resource Management: Manages and evaluates daily clinic operations, including patient accounts, staffing, supplies, and equipment, to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with budget and regulations.


• Quality of Care & Patient Experience: Coordinates nursing and office operations to maintain quality patient care and confidentiality, resolves patient concerns, and oversees proactive service recovery and complaint resolution.


• Operational & Clinical Issue Resolution: Identifies and guides the resolution of operational and clinical issues, ensures adherence to standards, monitors documentation, and reports on productivity and program updates.


• Facilities & Disaster Readiness: Monitors adherence to environment of care standards, coordinates facility maintenance and upkeep with various teams, and ensures clinic disaster readiness and physical security.


• Policy, Process & Relationship Management: Participates in developing and implementing new policies, standards, and workflows, informs staff of changes, and maintains effective relationships with regional management and the Medical Director for operational oversight and issue resolution.


• Staff Management & Compliance: Oversees staff management, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and development, while ensuring compliance with all internal and external legal and regulatory standards and adapting to changing requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Other in a related field and graduation from an accredited school of nursing and minimum of three years leadership experience, upon hire or


• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and five years of leadership experience in the discipline that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, upon hire or


• Masters Other graduation from an accredited school of nursing, upon hire and


• Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire

Pay Range

$52.15 - $86.05 /hour
