Job summary

Conemaugh Nason Medical Center is seeking a Manager (RN) for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The role provides strategic leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight to a skilled team, collaborating with cardiologists and hospital leadership to drive quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have RN licensure in PA (or compact state), ACLS/CPR certifications, and 3–5 years in outpatient Cath Lab settings, with a preference for 5+ years and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• RN program graduate with PA license or MSL (ACLs/CPR required).
• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in outpatient Cath Lab/OR; more than 5 years preferred; familiarity with access databases is a plus.
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania or compact multistate license; ACLS and CPR certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team through hiring, onboarding, training, coaching and performance management.

Join a high-performing cardiovascular services team in a fast-paced, patient-focused Cardiac Catheterization Lab recognized for clinical excellence, Chest Pain Accreditation, and exceptional patient outcomes. As the Cath Lab Manager, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic and operational leadership to a skilled, experienced team while partnering closely with respected cardiologists and hospital leadership. How you'll contribute

AManager (RN) - Cath Labwho excels in this role:

You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care by developing and implementing department policies, maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing quality improvement initiatives, and managing day-to-day operations.

In this role, you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team through effective hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management. You will foster a collaborative environment built on teamwork, accountability, and service excellence while supporting staff growth and professional development.

You will work closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflow, improve patient outcomes, and drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities include budget management, resource allocation, productivity monitoring, quality control, and ensuring the department remains aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.

Success in this position requires a strong commitment to leadership, communication, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement, while inspiring and guiding others toward achieving departmental and organizational objectives.

What we're looking for

Applicants should be graduates of an RN program and hold a current nurse's license in the state of Pennsylvania or a current multistate license (MSL) from compact member states/territories. Additional requirements include:

• Associate's degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an outpatient setting (Cath Lab, Operating Room, Recovery Room, etc.)
• More than five (5) years of experience in an outpatient setting (Cath Lab, Operating Room, Recovery Room, etc.); Knowledge of access database. Preferred
• Current nurse's license in the state of Pennsylvania or a current multistate license (MSL) from compact member states/territories. Current and must maintain ACLS and CPR certifications.
