With a position in Sales & Marketing, you’ll strengthen our relationships with clients, anticipate their needs, and think outside the box to unlock new possibilities.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or your location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance, which may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations.

Position Overview

The Manager, Revenue Operations plays a key role in supporting Paylocity’s go-to-market strategy by leading the day-to-day operations of the Deal Desk and Proposals teams, and overseeing a Revenue Operations Analyst focused on sales policy, commission operations, and strategic GTM projects. This role reports to the Senior Director, Revenue Operations and is responsible for ensuring operational alignment, process optimization, and scalable support for our growing sales organization.

Primary Responsibilities

The primary duties of this position include:

  • Leading and managing the Deal Desk team to support sales with pricing strategy, approvals, and non-standard deal structuring across segments.
  • Overseeing the Proposals team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant RFP and proposal submissions that align with Paylocity’s brand and value proposition.
  • Managing and developing a Revenue Operations Analyst responsible for supporting sales policy documentation, commissions data validation, and key operational initiatives.
  • Partnering with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Operations leaders to align deal support processes and commission operations with business objectives.
  • Ensuring consistent application of sales policies and supporting education and communication of changes across the sales organization.
  • Supporting the administration and maintenance of sales compensation processes, including plan documentation and dispute resolution.
  • Contributing to strategic RevOps projects such as process automation, data quality improvements, and enablement of new GTM programs.
  • Creating and maintaining operational documentation, playbooks, and dashboards to drive visibility, accountability, and scalability.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency across revenue operations functions.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or GTM support roles.
  • 2+ years of experience leading or managing small teams or cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with Salesforce, CPQ tools, commission platforms, and proposal management systems.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS sales motions and GTM structures.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven with experience in Excel, reporting tools, or BI platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.

The base pay range for this position is $94,000 - $174,600 per year. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and stock grants based on performance, along with a full benefits package. Applicants should apply at www.paylocity.com/careers.
