Job Description

The Manager, Revenue Cycle Systems is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership of staff, Revenue Cycle Application Management, Analysis & Reporting, stakeholder management, and vendor management activities for PIH Health. The Manager is accountable for day-to-day management of personnel, including staffing, timekeeping, employee evaluations, counseling, interviewing, and staff selection within established guidelines.

Required Skills
  • Ownership of the service-line portfolio(s), including delivering business objectives (Key Performance Indicators), successful transitions, service delivery, and cost management.
  • Responsible for supporting all staff involved in revenue cycle solutions.
  • Maintain operations within budget and be accountable for financial cases as needed.
  • Effectively interact with stakeholders, hospital leadership, and team members while maintaining professional standards.
  • Manage staff effectively, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Strong analytical skills for data collection and research; problem-solving abilities for timely issue resolution; excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, sound judgment, efficient use of time, adaptability under pressure, respectful treatment of others, punctuality, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Experience
  • Experience in patient access, HIM coding, ROI, HB billing and claims, PB billing and claims, and Dorothy/Comfort billing and claims.
  • Experience supporting or implementing healthcare revenue cycle applications.
  • Proven management success leading cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Work experience within a hospital or health system business office.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
