Legends Global, based in Norwalk, CT, seeks a Manager, Revenue Accounting to lead monthly and quarterly reporting, consolidation, and revenue recognition for high-profile clients. You’ll strengthen internal controls and partner with finance, sales and treasury to optimize cash flow.

The role demands 5+ years in accounting/finance with GAAP expertise; experience in ERP and BI tools is highly valued. This is a hybrid role with four days in the office in Norwalk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 5 years of accounting/finance experience including consolidation and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, consolidations and general ledger accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query); BI reporting tools a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting across key clients with accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flows).
• Reconcile P&L and balance sheet accounts to identify variances with finance and sales teams.
• Oversee revenue recognition for key clients in collaboration with Technical Accounting, finance and Sales teams.
• Reconcile and monitor key balance sheet accounts (cash, AR, unearned revenue, accruals).
• Collaborate with finance, sales and treasury to improve cash flow collection.
• Support technical accounting research and documentation as needed.
• Partner cross-functionally to clear reconciling items and strengthen controls.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong accounting professional to join our Controllership team. This role will be responsible for the accounting and reporting and preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flows), ensuring the accuracy of key client accounts and strengthening internal controls around reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with a continuous-improvement mindset and comfort operating in a multi-entity or complex organizational structure.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes across key clients and ensure client financial reporting requirements are accurate, complete and performed in a timely manner
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement (P&L), and cash flows over key Sales accounts
• Reconcile key P&L accounts to identify, investigate, and resolve variances or discrepancies, working closely with finance and sales teams
• Manage revenue recognition over key clients, working closely with the Technical Accounting, finance and Sales teams
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (e.g., cash, accounts receivable, unearned revenue, accounts payables, accruals) on a monthly basis
• Collaborate with finance, sales and treasury to improve cash flow collection efforts for key clients
• Assist with technical accounting research and documentation as needed
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure timely clearing of reconciling items
• Leverage technology (e.g., ERP systems, consolidation software, Power BI/Tableau, Power Query) to automate reporting and strengthen data integrity
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance analytics capabilities and support data-driven decision-making
• Support internal and external audit requests related to reporting and controls.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CPA strongly preferred
• 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including consolidation and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP, consolidations and general ledger accounting principles
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query); experience with BI reporting tools a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Prior public accounting experience a plus.
