Job summary

J.Crew Group seeks a strategic marketing leader to drive end-to-end campaigns for new store openings across markets, tailoring plans to local opportunities and customer needs.

You will partner with Field Leadership and cross-functional teams to launch campaigns, measure impact, and evolve our playbook for future openings. Hybrid work and a focus on growth at the local store level are expected.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, retail marketing, integrated marketing, growth marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data and performance results to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for new store openings, from initial planning and market assessment through execution, measurement, and optimization.
  • Develop tailored marketing plans based on the customer, market opportunity, store objectives, and local business needs.
  • Partner closely with Field Leadership to translate priorities into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Bring new store plans to life across channels with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Lead the development and evolution of our store anniversary program and drive awareness, engagement, and traffic.
  • Own measurement and reporting of new store marketing performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Extrapolate learnings across stores to identify trends and evolve our playbook.
  • Develop concise updates for senior leadership translating results into next steps.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Stores, Real Estate, Analytics, Creative and others to align strategy through execution.
  • Identify new ideas, channels, and opportunities to strengthen store launches as our fleet grows.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for new store openings, from initial planning and market assessment through execution, measurement, and optimization.

  • Partner closely with Field Leadership to understand priorities, opportunities, and challenges and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Bring new store plans to life across the right mix of channels, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure strong execution.
  • Lead the development and evolution of our store anniversary program, identifying key milestone moments and creating strategies that continue to drive awareness, engagement, and traffic after opening.
  • Own the measurement and reporting of new store marketing performance, identifying the impact of our investments and the key drivers behind results.
  • Go beyond reporting the numbers to identify the “so what”—connecting performance to insights, recommendations, and clear actions for future plans.
  • Extrapolate learnings across stores and markets to identify broader trends and opportunities and continuously evolve our new store marketing playbook.
  • Develop clear, compelling updates and performance recaps for senior leadership, translating complex results into a concise story about performance, impact, and next steps.
  • Build strong partnerships across Marketing, Stores, Real Estate, Analytics, Creative and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment from strategy through execution.
  • Identify new ideas, channels, and opportunities that can strengthen how we launch and support stores as our fleet continues to grow.

Salary Range: $108,800.00 - $140,400.00

The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
