We are seeking an experienced and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our leadership team as a Manager - Respiratory Therapy. This is a managerial position with direct reports, reporting to the Director of Respiratory Therapy, and provides operational, clinical, and people leadership for the evening shift, with hours extending until approximately midnight.

Key Responsibilities:
Summary: The Respiratory Manager is a Registered Respiratory Therapist who directs and coordinates the daily operation and functions of the Respiratory Therapy Department within the hospital. Works closely with staff personnel in the department as well as those in other disciplines. Ensures that policies, procedures, goals and objectives of the Respiratory Therapy Department are planned, organized and implemented in a manner consistent with the mission of Southern Maine Health Care. Under the leadership of the Nursing Director, the manager will plan, organize, direct, coordinate, evaluate and control all resources (personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities and budget) toward the attainment of departmental and hospital goals and objectives. This role will consist of a combination of management and clinically oriented activities as appropriate to departmental needs.

The pay range for this position is $104,956.80to $141,980.80per year.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
