Job description

Manager, Residual Processing & Administration

Salary range: $90,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

NGUniversal is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager, Residuals to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely residual payments while collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including Labor, Production Finance, and Business Affairs. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical, technical, and communication skills with a deep understanding of residuals and guild‑related processes.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, forecast, and initiate monthly and quarterly residual payments.
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret complex data sets from the Paris system and BI tools to generate reports and insights for Finance, Business Affairs, and Labor Relations.
  • Coordinate with the Cash Planning team on weekly residual payouts.
  • Review and approve U.S. and international residual payments across major guilds (e.g., Equity, UBCP, ACTRA, MEAA).
  • Support internal and external audit requests, including guild audits.
  • Collaborate with guilds to resolve claims and escalate issues as needed.
  • Lead and participate in testing and implementation of ERP and Residuals system enhancements.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related industry experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Solid understanding of residuals and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in BI tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) a plus.
  • Proven ability to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to support critical decision‑making.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities with precision.
Hybrid

This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.
