Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in entertainment finance, participations or accounting.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and interpreting complex agreements into models.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with SAP and participations systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain participation and residual ultimate models for theatrical products
  • Support cash forecasting and budgeting processes related to participation and residual obligations
  • Analyze and interpret complex legal agreements and translate terms into financial models and forecasts
  • Collaborate closely with FP&A, Controllership, Strategic Planning, Legal and Business Affairs
  • Maintain appropriate controls within the ultimate process as required by Sarbanes Oxley
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and improve productivity
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and forecasting
  • Support ad hoc requests and special projects as needed

Job Description

TheDirector,Financial Contract Administration isresponsible forleading thefinancial modelingand budgeting of participations and residuals for theatrical products, with a focus on film ultimates and cash. This role requires a deep understanding of contractual obligationsand the ability to translate complex deal terms into financial models and forecasts. This individual will bring a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills,and a collaborative approach to working across Participations, FP&A, Controllership, and Strategic Planninggroups.Additionally, the role will support thesetup and reviewoftheatricalparticipation dealswithinthe Participations and Residuals system (PARIS)as needed.

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
