Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a seasoned Residence Life Leader to oversee the on-campus residential experience for thousands of students. You will manage student staff, discipline, programming, and partnerships with campus departments to foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive living environment.

In this role you will train Community Ambassadors, plan large-scale programs and budgets, handle recruitment and selection, and influence policies that shape the student experience on campus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Leadership in residence life and student engagement required.
• Experience in event coordination, crisis management, and counseling support.
• Training development and staff mentorship skills required.
• Experience with housing management systems StarRez, Transact and CBORD.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

About the job

Lead the on-campus residential experience for thousands of students while fostering a vibrant and supportive community. Oversee student discipline, residence life programming, and all aspects of student staff coordination. Plan and implement training for Community Ambassadors, partner with campus departments, and manage recruitment and selection processes to create an engaging, safe, and inclusive environment.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $56270 - $72820
