An established industry player is seeking a Research Programs Manager to lead complex health-related projects. This role involves managing multiple research studies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1.Bachelor's Degree in social or health science or related field
EXPERIENCE:
1.Five (5) years of human subject research experience
2.Two (2) years of project coordination experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Master's degree
2.Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) certification
EXPERIENCE:
1.Experience writing IRB submission, protocol development, data collection, and data analysis
2.Experience writing grant applications and proposals
3.Experience developing grant budgets and managing grant funding
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Manages research and community engaged projects
2.Maintains project schedules and calendars
3. Oversees completion of study and project activities per protocol
4.Ensures that study and project protocols are in compliance with appropriate rules and regulations and reviews study and project progress and recommends revisions, amendments, and/or other study and project changes as necessary to better meet needs of sponsors
5.Reviews scientific literature and evaluates and recommends applicable techniques and procedures.
6. May create and/or manage research study and project budget which may include deciding on and approving expenditures of funds based on budget.
7.Purchases project supplies, materials, equipment and services
8.Directs, assigns duties to and may supervise study project personnel and research assistants
9.Assists with academic research, health related program development and community engagement
10.Assists with the editing and preparation of manuscripts
11. Facilitates services provided to researchers in a broad array of areas including, clinical trials, biostatistics, data analysis
12.Assists in hiring of grant funded research personnel
13.Creates data for use in grant submission and develop new proposals for research including obtaining financial support
14.Ensures that all study and project documents associated with current local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines, requirements, laws and research protocols are completed in a timely manner.
15.Prepares materials for IRB (Institutional Review Board)
16.Arranges and attends meetings, seminars, symposia and other events related to the core activities
17.Attends program related community meetings and performs outreach
18.Gathers and analyzes data
19.Contributes to the development of project related web material, educational materials, and social media content
20.Engages community partners to participate in community engaged research and other health related projects
