Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Manager, Research Finance to lead the development of clinical trial budgets within the Clinical Cancer Research Department. The role oversees daily operations of the support services team, including protocol submissions, internal audits and regulatory oversight.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, at least five years in clinical research finance, strong Excel and billing database skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical research finance experience.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Google.
• Experience with billing database systems.
• Familiarity with CPT coding standards.
• Ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze budgetary line items for compliance with budget guidelines.
• Ability to prepare research reports and proposals.
• Ability to provide technical advice to faculty and staff.

Manager, Research Finance manages the development of clinical trial budgets for the Clinical Cancer Research Department and overall financial management oversight of adult oncology clinical trial expenses. Manages the daily operations of the support services team including but not limited to clinical trial initial protocol submissions, internal audit and regulatory teams.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor Degree in a related field.
• 5 years of clinical research finance experience.
• Advanced computer skills in platforms such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, Google, etc.
• Billing database systems skills.
• Experience with CPT coding standards.
• Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to analyze budgetary line items for compliance with budget guidelines.
• Ability to prepare research reports and proposals.
• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgements.
• Ability to provide technical advice and information to faculty and staff in an area of expertise.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Oncology Experience Preferred.
