Optima Medical in Arizona is seeking a Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Manager to oversee daily RPM operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and maintain billing and clinical compliance. You will lead enrollments and disenrollments, patient engagement campaigns, device management, staff coaching, and performance tracking, collaborating with IT and clinic teams to resolve issues.

  • MA certification (CMA or RMA) or equivalent accreditation is required.
  • Experience in Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), healthcare operations, or primary care.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, clinical documentation, and vital sign monitoring/review.
  • Proven leadership experience managing staff in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee patient enrollments and disenrollments, ensuring accuracy and proper education.
  • Manage patient engagement initiatives, including text campaigns, call lists, and outreach workflows.
  • Conduct daily audits of coordinator performance (documentation, vitals review, time tracking, and billing metrics).
  • Monitor urgent and out-of-range vitals and ensure escalation protocols are followed.
  • Lead biweekly performance check-ins and track coordinator KPIs.
  • Collaborate with leadership on staffing, performance, and program improvements.
  • Manage RPM devices, vendor communication, and support tickets.
  • Oversee device inventory, returns, and redistribution.
  • Supervise staff, including timecards, PTO, performance reviews, and coaching.
  • Coordinate with IT, facilities, and clinic teams to resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure all daily tasks and reporting are completed.

Position Overview

The RPM Manager oversees daily operations of the Remote Patient Monitoring program, ensuring high-quality patient care, strong patient engagement, and compliance with clinical and billing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Required: Medical Assistant (MA) certification or diploma from an accredited program (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
  • Experience in Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), healthcare operations, or a primary care setting
  • Strong understanding of compliance, clinical documentation, and vital sign monitoring/review
  • Proven leadership experience managing staff in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma required
