Qualifications

  • Licensure as Rehab Therapist (OTR/RPT) required.
  • BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
  • 3 years leadership experience preferred.

We Are Hiring
  • Department:Physical Therapy
  • Schedule:8-hour DAY shift Monday - Friday
  • Hospital: Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital
  • Location:Chicago, IL
  • Salary: $55.23 - $74.72per hour
  • Bonus: Eligible for an annual bonus incentive.
What You Will Do

Manage the daily operations of rehabilitative services.

  • Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Assess quality of patient care and coordinate services with patients and healthcare providers
  • Manage staff relations and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
  • 2 years experience.
  • Managerial Experiencestrong preferred.
