Mount Rogers Community Services Board seeks a Manager Peer House to oversee daily operations of a recovery residence and supervise peer staff. The role includes welcoming peers, orienting them to rules, and coordinating treatment services while maintaining security and confidentiality.
You will be responsible for medication handling per protocol, calendar management for appointments, and 24/7 on-call availability to address issues, safety, and compliance with regulations.

The Manager Recovery House provides a level of supervision for the residents (peers) and the overall operation of the recovery home that meets National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) and Agency standards. The Manager is a resident manager who will have a fee-free private space in the home.
1.Oversee daily functions and day-to-day operation of recovery residence, while serving as a role model for healthy recovery; walk the talk in your personal recovery management plan. Convene all house meetings and attend house managers meetings.
2.Ensure that all peers are welcomed and oriented to the program. Review all rules, requirements, emergency procedures and phone numbers with each peer upon arrival; ensure peer has copy of rules and applicable forms. Supervise peers in meeting house requirements, following the rules, and encourage participation in service work in our community.
3.Assist with service coordination for peers’ treatment and other services.
4.Secure peer medications according to protocols and dispense when required.
5.Maintain calendar of peer appointments for counseling, heath care, etc.
6.Be available 24/7 to respond to behavior problems, physical plant issues, and/or security issues; arrange for coverage when needed and get approval in advance from supervisor.
7.Drug test all residents according to protocols.
8.Ensure emergency numbers and evacuation maps are conspicuously posted.
