Position: Manager, Quality Control - 17385
Description: The Manager will develop and maintain a system to ensure all products supplied to both civil and defense programs meet customer requirements and AAR specifications, aiming for superior quality. Responsibilities include supporting new program proposals, implementing quality processes at new sites, ensuring conformity of purchased materials and final products, updating standards and procedures, liaising with customers and quality representatives, preparing reports, and leading the quality team. The role involves 30-50% travel and acts as a backup for the Wood Dale Quality Control Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises the quality team, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and addressing employee issues, in accordance with company policies and laws.
Core Competencies: Commitment to ethics, dependability, motivation, organization, communication, initiative, and analytical skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience (minimum 8 years), FAA A&P License required, proficiency in Microsoft Office. Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, and reaching in an office environment.
Location & Schedule: Miami, Florida, full-time, exempt from overtime.
