Job summary

You will collect, analyze, and evaluate quality measures, design processes to foster clinical excellence, and guide changes in policy to align with best practices. The role involves reporting quality data internally and externally, and providing ongoing education while collaborating with professional health care

Qualifications

• Three years of Clinical, IT or HIM experience preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of patient medical records required.
• Three years experience in hospital or healthcare environment desired.
• Previous experience in formal performance indicator and quality measures activities preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical applications, preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Education and facilitation experience in healthcare required.
• Certification in Quality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital departments and health care entities to support performance improvement activities.

Position Description: Responsible for cross collaboration with other hospital departments (medical records, CDI, etc.) and other health care entities. Supports organization excellence through collecting, analyzing, and evaluating performance improvement activities and quality measures within the organization . Responsible for designing processes that foster clinical excellence and managing changes in policy and practice to ensure alignment of clinical performance with best practices as well as accurately reporting quality data internally and to external organizations. Provides leadership and expertise through on-going education and works directly with professional health care providers and administrative leaders throughout the organization.
