North Highland in Atlanta seeks an experienced Manager to lead the Public Sector Consulting team and deliver value-driven solutions for government clients. You will guide multi-work-stream projects, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and drive measurable outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years in management consulting with MES/MMIS/IES, APD and CMS/MITA knowledge, and a proven ability to grow client accounts while mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management consulting and/or Big 4 experience.
• Experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), MMIS modernization and IES.
• Experience with APD, business case, and feasibility study development.
• Experience developing public sector HHS procurements and CMS/MITA knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead client relationships and grow accounts.

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Manager to join our Public Sector Consulting team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage a team of consultants, working closely with public sector clients to deliver innovative solutions and drive impactful results. Your expertise will help shape the future of public services, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and excellence in every project.

You Will

• Guide teams in the development of impactful deliverables for multiple work streams that create long-term change for some of the world’s most exciting brands.
• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders that support ongoing projects and open the door to growth opportunities.
• Identify the complex problems facing our clients and build plans that creatively address their challenges.
• Put your team’s best ideas into action through planning and management; uncover gaps and omissions that may exist in a plan or deliverables.
• Shape the firm’s future by identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Play a central role in your team’s growth through coaching and constructive review of ongoing engagements.

Ideally, We'd Like

• 8+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience.
• Experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), MMIS modernization and Integrated Eligibility (IES) systems.
• Experience with Advance Planning Document (APD), business case, and/or feasibility study development.
• Experience with developing public sector HHS procurements including requirements development, market scans, supporting RFP issuance.
• Experience with CMS compliance, MITA framework, and federal Medicaid policy
• Demonstrate deep knowledge in Project Management and the ability to establish credibility with clients, create value, and deliver desired business outcomes at scale through its practice.
• The ability to galvanize client stakeholders and teammates into action for a common goal through collaboration, building consensus, and authentically establishing credibility.
• Experience developing proposals that successfully drive clients to choose a business solution.
• A demonstrated track record supporting large, complex consulting engagements, with roles that involve building and fostering relationships with senior-level client executives.
• Demonstrated success managing teams while fostering high performance.
• Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges.
