This is your chance to be part of a Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) that offers world-class revenue management talent and tools to owned, managed, and franchised Hilton hotels worldwide. As a Manager, Project Support - Strategic Operations, you will support a team dedicated to helping hotels grow market share and outperform competitors. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Support, you will work on projects such as developing analytics data products and designing performance dashboards.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is vital. Below are some of your key responsibilities:

Day-to-day activities include:

• Developing Python-based ETL pipelines for reports and tools
• Writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and reporting
• Building Excel-based financial and operational tools using VBA (macros, custom functions, PivotTable automation, Power Query)
• Integrating with RESTful APIs, managing secure authentication (e.g., keyring)
• Orchestrating workflows with Apache Airflow or similar tools, with automated failure alerts
• Profiling pipeline performance—optimizing Python code and SQL execution plans
• Documenting ETL processes, data models, and maintaining a data catalog

Collaborative efforts involve:

• Partnering with Data Science, Analytics, BI, and Commercial Services teams to develop scalable data products
• Mentoring junior analysts and developers, leading knowledge-sharing workshops
• Providing strategic advice on analytics best practices and data product adoption
• Working with stakeholders to define KPIs and assess data product impact

Ownership of projects includes:

• Designing dashboards and self-service reporting tools for revenue and trends
• Developing CI/CD pipelines for analytics data products
• Creating data models (star/snowflake schemas)
• Ensuring security and data governance compliance, including credential management

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering roles
• 3+ years of experience with complex SQL (Redshift, SQL Server, MySQL) and stored procedures
• 2+ years of coding experience with macros, automation, PivotTables
• Proficiency in Python (ETL frameworks, pandas, NumPy) and advanced Excel (Power Query, functions)
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of coding standards (PEP 8, docstrings) and code reviews
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred skills:

• Experience profiling and optimizing Python performance
• Knowledge of FastAPI/Flask, Vue.js/React dashboards
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Airflow
• Understanding of data modeling principles
• Strong partner management and communication skills
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI
• Basic Linux shell scripting
• Background in advanced analytics or data modeling methodologies
