The Cardiac Management Solutions division of ZOLL Medical Corporation develops products to protect and manage cardiac patients, including the LifeVest wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD), the ZOLL cardiac monitor, and associated technologies.

The LifeVest is a wearable defibrillator worn by patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), providing protection during their changing condition and while permanent SCA risk has not been established. The LifeVest allows a patient’s physician time to assess their long-term arrhythmic risk and make appropriate plans.

Reporting into the Head of Professional Relations and Medical Education and functioning as part of the EMEA marketing organization our team is looking for a dedicated and motivated Medical Education Manager to support us in creating and implementing meaningful Medical Education programs for activities related to healthcare professionals (HCPs) relative to key focus areas as well as fostering relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and cardiac societies in the Central Europe region.

Manager Professional Relations und Medical Education (f/m/d) Central Europe (home-based)

Areas Of Responsibility

  • Responsible for the Zoll CMS Medical education strategy in Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH), Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg; this in close collaboration with the local geographical management teams.
  • Responsibility for the development of educational relationships and collaboration with both international societies, national societies and geographical Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Collaborates with the geographical management teams for the planning and execution of congress symposia, webinars, round tables (national & local), advisory boards and expert panel meetings.
  • Collaborates with reimbursement and market access colleagues to support requirements for improved access.
  • Collaborates with the EMEA marketing group to develop programs that increase ZOLL brand recognition, clinical presence and customer perception at scientific conventions or other relevant Peer > Peer events.
  • Foster relationships with key clinical individuals / organizations within the industry.

Experience And Personal Qualities

  • Multiple years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sector required.
  • Multiple years of experience within a medical education, marketing or sales management position.
  • Independent thinking with a high level of initiative and the ability to interact with physicians, key opinion leaders is essential.
  • Ability to interpret and convey complex clinical data.
  • Well-honed interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written German and English
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to work within a fast paced, high visibility role.
  • Approximately 30%-40% travel, mainly within the region, and some weekends required for the position
