Tyson Foods in Oklahoma is seeking a team-oriented supervisor to lead a group responsible for pedigree farm objectives. You will direct day-to-day activities, mentor staff, and ensure safety and biosecurity standards are followed.
Responsibilities include achieving selection targets, producing reports, and collaborating across teams. A college degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years in the field are required; knowledge of farm machinery is preferred.
The expectation of this position is to lead and direct a team to achieve pedigree farm objectives.
College degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the field of expertise.
Knowledge of farm machinery and operation, water pumps, and wells preferred.
Proficiency in data collection and management using Microsoft Office applications is required.
Supervises a team of hourly team members, including lead positions.
Minimal domestic travel required.
The job site is a biosecurity-controlled environment that requires showering before entering the facility and may require multiple showers throughout the workday. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the job site, except for medical identification jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid contact with any avian species, including chickens, ducks, and other birds. The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times. Must be willing to comply with all Cobb Farm and Hatchery Biosecurity Standards.
