About the Team

Our Advertising & Promotions Marketing team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, surfacing and monetizing relevant content that benefits our core audiences. We provide digital solutions to help advertisers reach DoorDash audiences. The growing DoorDash ads business aims to become the premier platform for merchants and brands to market to local customers, creating an ecosystem that benefits all parties.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Manager for Product Marketing to join our Ads & Promotions Marketing team. This role involves building products and tools for advertisers on DoorDash’s local commerce platform. The candidate will lead the team’s efforts, scale the PMM function, and grow a key business segment. Responsibilities include defining positioning for the advertising and promotions platform, developing marketing strategies for launching new features, and expanding existing products, with a focus on CPG brand advertisers.

The ideal candidate will operate strategically and tactically, leveraging audience insights through research and analytics, and building relationships with senior product leaders. Experience working closely with customer-facing teams like sales and account management is essential.

This role is based in NY, SF, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Austin, or Boston and reports to the Senior Product Marketing Manager, Ads Marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Support B2B marketing strategies to drive adoption and engagement of advertising products.
  • Develop positioning, messaging, naming, and value propositions for ads & promotion products.
  • Generate audience insights through research and analytics to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute marketing programs at scale, collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Communications, Events, Business Strategy, Finance, and Analytics.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in adtech Product Marketing or Product in a corporate or startup environment.
  • Experience working in the CPG industry, either in-house, at an agency, or as a consultant.
  • Proven success in go-to-market launches that increase adoption and impact.
  • Data fluency, including market sizing, forecasting, and campaign analytics; SQL experience preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop products or services for business customers.

Compensation
