Job Purpose
The Manager, Product Management & Strategy is responsible for leading the Product Management team and driving the development, execution, and alignment of product strategies across the organization. The Manager, Product Management & Strategy serves as the direct supervisor for all Product Managers and is accountable for overseeing the full product lifecycle—from ideation and planning through launch and iteration—to ensure products meet business goals and user expectations. The Manager, Product Management & Strategy partners closely with cross-functional teams including Development, Sales, and Operations to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions that support our enterprise vision of driving better results through intelligent technology.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance product culture
- Establish frameworks and best practices for product discovery, backlog management, requirements definition, user acceptance testing, and deployment
- Ensure the timely execution of product roadmaps and alignment with business goals
- Oversee the development of product KPIs and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and measure product performance
- Drive the end-to-end product development process, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and end user satisfaction
- Proactively identify risks or obstacles across product initiatives and develop creative, actionable solutions to mitigate them
- Serve as the key liaison between the product team and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal escalations related to product performance, priorities, or delivery, and drive timely resolution
- Support change management and communication efforts related to product releases and organizational initiatives
- Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
- Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times
- Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product management required
- At least 2 years in a leadership or management role required
- Direct experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies a plus
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, etc)
- Deep understanding of product management methodologies and frameworks
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and results delivery
- Passion for innovation and technology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward strategic objectives
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable plans
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction
Working Conditions
- Ability to occasionally workout outside of normal business hours to support production deployments
