Endocrinologists are at the core of solving the most pressing health problems of our time, from diabetes and obesity to infertility, bone health, and hormone-related cancers The Endocrine Society is the world’s oldest and largest organization of scientists devoted to hormone research and physicians who care for people with hormone-related conditions. Our inclusive community is made of scientists, physicians, educators, nurses, and students in 122 countries. The Endocrine Society promotes breakthroughs in endocrine science and patient care through education, research, and advocacy, uniting a community of 18,000 scientists and clinicians energized by the promise of unraveling the mysteries of hormone-related conditions and diseases. As the global scientific landscape evolves and traditional association revenue models face increasing pressure, the Society is investing in new ways to support the field, reach broader audiences, and strengthen the financial foundation needed to sustain progress in public health worldwide. As Manager, Product Innovation & Business Development, you will report to and work closely with the Chief Global & Growth Officer and other key leaders, supporting the Society’s efforts to develop and advance new revenue opportunities. With an established R&D fund, the Society is positioned to test and scale promising ideas. You will research unmet needs across the endocrine research and clinical practice ecosystem and help develop offerings—beyond traditional association products and services—that provide value to the field while generating revenue for the Society. Working within established priorities and with guidance from leadership, you will help move this work from idea through evaluation and implementation. Drawing on market research and ideas originating from the Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team, staff, and external partners, you will evaluate and help prioritize opportunities, developing promising concepts into validated, monetizable services, products, or partnerships. You will prepare well-researched business cases, coordinate concept testing and pilots, and work with internal teams and external partners to assess feasibility and impact. You will provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to support leadership decision-making and coordinate the transition of approved initiatives to operational teams. A core aspect of this role is developing relationships with potential partners and maintaining a pipeline of future opportunities. You will assess potential partnership approaches, coordinate joint planning, and support the development and negotiation of agreements that define contributions, responsibilities, and expected outcomes. Success in this role requires sound business judgment, strong project management, and the ability to build productive relationships while moving initiatives from concept through launch in a complex global environment.

What you’ll bring to the job:
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, business development, innovation, product development, or a related function, preferably within a healthcare, medical, scientific, association, or nonprofit environment, with demonstrated skill in evaluating and prioritizing business opportunities based on mission alignment, market need, revenue potential, feasibility, and risk.
  • Experience developing business cases and financial analyses to assess new products, services, or partnerships, including market demand, pricing, costs, and ROI.
  • Experience developing and managing external partnerships and supporting agreement development or negotiations with stakeholders such as nonprofits, industry, or global organizations.
  • Experience working across international markets or with global partners and MBA is preferred.
