Position Overview:

Grainger Corporate Services LLC is seeking a Manager, Product Engineering in Lake Forest, IL, with the following requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Sciences, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of related experience
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data engineering products and services using AWS, ensuring scalability and performance
  • Architecting and optimizing ETL processes to improve query performance and reduce data latency
  • Leading and mentoring team members, participating in onboarding, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional growth
  • Developing and managing technical roadmaps for data engineering projects aligned with business goals
  • Analyzing and mitigating project risks through thorough risk, cost, and time analysis
  • Guiding and mentoring engineering teams in implementing testing strategies and CI/CD practices
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
  • Remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.
Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated base pay range is $196,123 to $206,000, depending on experience and location. Grainger reserves the right to modify compensation and benefits at its discretion.
