Job summary

Magna International Inc. seeks a Manager, Procurement Reporting & Controlling in Troy, MI. You will lead global procurement savings tracking, KPI design, and cross-group reporting to steer performance and maintain financial credibility.

The role partners with Group Procurement and Finance to translate sourcing efforts into measurable bottom-line impact. Responsibilities include maintaining standard methodologies, dashboards, and variance analyses, while driving automation of reporting processes

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in Purchasing/Plant Controlling and Reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain principles and procurement strategies.
  • Experience with ERP systems and other supply chain management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own global procurement savings tracking, including methodology and reporting.
  • Act as Project Controller for corporate and cross-group procurement initiatives.
  • Provide plan vs. actual transparency and bridge savings to budget and P&L.
  • Deliver monthly procurement performance reporting for executive steering.
  • Design and maintain a standardized procurement KPI framework.
  • Drive development of the Procurement Savings Tracking Tool and analytics.
  • Control procurement cost centers, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Partner with Procurement leadership to consolidate plans across groups.
  • Provide transparency on financial impact of disruptions, tariffs, and ROI.
  • Define and maintain global standards, playbooks, and guidance for reporting.

With 65+ years of expertise, our ecosystem of interconnected products combined with our complete vehicle expertise uniquely positions us to advance mobility in an expanded transportation landscape.**Job Responsibilities:****About the Role:**The Manager Procurement Reporting & Controlling ensures financial transparency, credibility, and performance steering of global procurement activities across all product groups and divisions.Operating from a corporate governance role in a highly decentralized organization, the position enables fact‐based decision‐making by establishing standardized savings tracking, KPI frameworks, and reporting, while partnering closely with Group Procurement and Finance.The role is critical to turn procurement activities into measurable bottom‐line impact, strengthen accountability, and support cross‐group collaboration through trusted data and common standards.**Your Responsibilities:**Savings, Performance & Transformation Controlling* Own global procurement savings tracking, including methodology, validation, reporting, and continuous improvement.* Act as Project Controller for corporate and cross‐group procurement and transformation initiatives.* Provide clear plan vs. actual transparency, bridge savings to budget and P&L, and flag risks early and ensure financial credibility.Reporting, Analytics & KPI Steering* Deliver monthly procurement performance reporting for executive and cross‐group steering.* Design and maintain a standardized global procurement KPI framework (e.g., savings, sourcing pipeline, spend coverage, compliance) and act as single source of truth for procurement performance data and dashboards.* Drive development of the Procurement Savings Tracking Tool and procurement analytics.Cost Center, Budget & Commitment Controlling* Control Corporate Procurement cost centers, including budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
