Job Overview

Norton Rose Fulbright is a global law firm with more than 3,000 lawyers and business service professionals. The Procurement Manager position is based in Austin, TX and reports to the Head of Procurement & Vendor Management.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Coupa deployment and adoption.
  • Maintain the firm’s procurement function on Coupa for Contract Life Cycle management, Procure to Pay and Vendor Onboarding.
  • Maintain a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the firm's goals, including policies and procedures for purchasing products and services.
  • Identify, evaluate and onboard vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements while ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors, monitoring performance and addressing issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle management process from vendor selection to contract negotiation, execution and renewal.
  • Collaborate with product owners, internal legal counsel and other stakeholders to review and negotiate contract terms, ensuring alignment with firm policies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and ethical requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement spend jointly with business services leadership to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier reliability, compliance and data security.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data‑driven analysis of procurement activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in procurement, supply chain management or vendor management, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Coupa from deployment to adoption.
  • Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, consensus building and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with business partners and suppliers.
  • Familiarity with e‑procurement platforms or contract management tools.
  • Knowledge of contract law and IT Service Delivery Management (ITIL) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data manipulation and PowerPoint for presentations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
