Job Description

The Private Equity Fund Services (PEFS) Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of private equity client deliverables, including quarterly financial reporting, capital call and distribution calculations, notices, carried interest calculations, management fees, and other complex fee calculations. The role involves reviewing fund liquidity, treasury requests, and ad-hoc investor relations requests. The PEFS Manager manages client relationships, serving as an escalation point for internal teams and clients, requiring interaction with clients, team members, and management. Mastery of private equity fund accounting, overseeing financial reporting, and managing teams are essential. The role also involves providing guidance, coaching, and training to team members.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and review quarterly financial statements and investor capital statements.
  • Support and review schedules supporting general ledger balances.
  • Manage capital call notices and distribution notices, ensuring compliance with the Fund's Operating Agreement.
  • Interpret Fund Operating Agreement terms.
  • Calculate and review waterfall structures, carried interest, and management fees.
  • Communicate with General Partners and respond to their requests.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and complete required forms.
  • Interact with auditors and support year-end audits.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Supervise and train team members, fostering professional development.
  • Demonstrate mastery of technical skills and client advisement.
  • Lead team trainings and serve as a resource for technical questions.
  • Provide leadership and act as an escalation point within the organization.
  • Assist in new business development efforts.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years’ experience in Accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years’ supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; advanced degrees and CPA preferred.
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and private equity software.
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The compensation range for this role is $124,910 to $270,620, influenced by skills, experience, and location.
