Job summary

Citrin Cooperman seeks a Private Client Services (PCS) Manager in Tax to lead high‑impact client engagements. You will review returns, projections and workpapers for individuals, fiduciaries, and pass‑through entities, providing planning and compliance guidance.

You will mentor staff, manage multiple engagements, and stay current on tax issues, building lasting client relationships while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred; CPA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience
• Knowledge of hedge fund and private equity K1s
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of managing multiple client engagements
• Track record of building and sustaining client relationships and high-quality client service
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Review of tax returns, income tax projections and tax workpapers for federal and state individual and fiduciary returns.
• Provide effective consulting, planning and compliance for clients.
• Oversee and manage day-to-day needs of clients and tax return process including issue resolution.
• Perform tax research to resolve issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with a proactive approach to serving clients.
• Coordinate with Partner and staff to ensure timeliness and communication for proper planning.
• Coach, mentor and assist staff to grow the tax practice.
• Maintain knowledge of new tax issues and business trends impacting clients.
