Collins Aerospace is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the Mission Systems Pricing and Cost Estimating team. This individual contributor role supports pricing Navy and Air Force proposals, including cost/price development, negotiations, and audits.

The ideal candidate will build complex proposals, conduct detailed analyses, articulate risks and opportunities, and work with contracts, engineering, procurement, and program management to ensure pricing accuracy and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• University degree with 8+ years experience or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join a growing and expanding team within the Mission Systems Pricing and Cost Estimating organization. This is an individual contributor role. This position is an internal/external customer facing position within the Mission Systems Integrated Strategic Defense Solutions portfolio that’s responsible for pricing Navy and Air Force proposals, supporting strategic cost/price implementations, fact-findings, negotiations and DCAA/DCMA audits. This position works closely with the leadership team and various functional teams such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business development, program management and operations.It requires the ability to analyze all aspects of a business arrangement, define associated risks and/or opportunities, and to work under pressure effectively while completing assignments on time.

The ideal candidate will be able to construct very complex proposals, perform a detailed analysis, clearly articulate risks and/or opportunities, obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance and possesses knowledge of U.S. Government Contracting Regulations.

What You Will Do:

• Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of very complex proposals in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) for submission in response to request for proposal (RFP).
• Thoroughly understands cost burdening and fee application to accurately build up proposal cost/price.
• Prepares complex financial summaries, performs detailed analysis, and breaks down complex information into key takeaways allowing Senior Management to make informed business decisions.
• Partners with contracts and is capable of leading customer fact-finding, negotiations and DCAA/DCMA audits.
• Collaborates with leadership and various functional teams to gather information, share insights, facilitate informed decision-making.
• Assesses the financial implications of pricing strategies and ensures accuracy and integrity of current cost and pricing data.
• Leads the proposal team in identifying, assessing and quantifying proposal risks and/or opportunities.
• Participates in internal/external audits with limited supervision.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements.
• Ability to travel domestic less than 10%.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience solving complex problems and converting complex data to actionable information.
• Experience with SAP, BMW, PARS, ProPricer.
• Functional knowledge of FAR, DFARs and General Accepted Accounting Principles
