Job summary

final mile is seeking a Pricing Manager in Missouri to lead a team of Pricing Analysts and coordinate responses to pricing requests from Sales, Customer Service, and related groups.

The role includes training analysts across Transactional and Dedicated Warehouse and Transportation services, including Consolidation, LTL, TL, and Parcel modes, while collaborating with Sales on pricing strategies and proposals. A strong analytical background and pricing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree in supply chain, finance, or economics preferred.
• Experience in supply chain or logistics with emphasis in pricing preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, mathematical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate and interface effectively with all levels of personnel, customers and vendors.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to work with limited supervision.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Manage team of Pricing Analysts effectively.
• Manage preparation of responses to Warehouse & Transportation pricing requests received from our customers either directly or through our Sales, Business Development or Customer Service groups.
• Train Pricing and Senior Pricing Analysts in an effort to develop their skills and competency in Transactional and Dedicated Warehouse services and Transportation services including, Consolidation, LTL, TL, and Parcel modes.
• Manage Pricing Analysts in assisting the Sales organization with customer pricing proposals and strategies.
• Complete or assist with miscellaneous projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Four-year Undergraduate Degree with Supply Chain, Finance, or Economics concentration preferred
• Previous Supply Chain or Logistics experience preferred, with an emphasis in pricing.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, mathematical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform multi-tasks in a fast paced environment
• Self-starter, with the ability to communicate and interface effectively with all levels of personnel, customers and vendors
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite, advanced MS Excel skills preferred
• Self starter with the ability to work with limited supervision

Salary

Up to $70,000/year base salary + Bonus Eligibility

This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however it may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.
