Job Summary:

The Pool Manager is responsible for operating the entire swimming complex facility, overseeing the swimming pool employees, and ensuring the safety of all users. They also hold the financial responsibility for the aquatic programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Hire and supervise all pool personnel to ensure staff are well-trained and maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct bi-monthly in-service training drills to uphold safety standards.
• Clean and sanitize the swimming pool, including cleaning the pool and backwash filters, skimming surfaces, and maintaining chemical levels.
• Ensure all equipment (e.g., railings, ropes, pumps) are in good working order, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
• Procure chemicals, equipment, and supplies as necessary.
• Oversee all aquatic programs created for the department.

About You:

• 2-3 years of experience in pool operation and aquatics.
• County Pool Operator Certificate, YMCA/Red Cross/Ellis Lifeguard certification, American Heart Association/Red Cross CPR, Red Cross Standard First Aid, and WSI certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
