Generate Capital is seeking a Policy and Engagement Manager to drive state and regional policy strategy, starting with SPP and ERCOT. You will translate regulatory updates into actionable guidance for Origination, Development, and Interconnection teams, while representing Generate in policy forums and trade groups.
You will coordinate consultants and engage utilities to advance projects and community initiatives.
Generate Capital aims to provide power to large load customers through a combination of on‑site power and grid‑connected solutions. As the Policy and Engagement Manager, you will support regional and state‑level policy and regulatory strategy in core geographies, with an initial focus on SPP and ERCOT. You will integrate regulatory expertise into Generate’s commercial strategy and help shape policy outcomes.

Generate’s compensation packages are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Salary decisions take into account a wide variety of factors including, but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 In addition, the compensation package may include a discretionary bonus and other benefits, including health care benefits, retirement benefits, benefits permitting paid days off (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid time off or vacation benefits), and other benefits that must be reported for federal tax purposes. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of this range.
